Since light pollution is a global problem, IDA believes it warrants a global solution. Thanks to the dedication of IDA Board members, IDA has been able to establish regional offices in Europe and Australia. Satellite offices act as regional liaisons and operate under semi-independent budgets. These offices help IDA maintain a strong global presence in meetings and activities.
