This issue of nightscape hosts Jim Richardson, National Geographic photographer, as he tells more about his Road Trip to find the stars, or lack thereof, that inspired his 2008 National Geographic feature. The previous year's many events are highlighted including the IDA Annual General meeting; the many events and conferences attended by IDA staff, board members, and volunteers; and a variety of other topics.
