IDA is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserve and protect the nighttime environment and our heritage of dark skies through quality outdoor lighting. We have a number of projects and programs that educate and encourage the public, professionals, and manufacturers on the importance of dark skies, remedies for improper lighting, and ways in which these impact energy and sustainability. • The 20th Anniversary Annual Meeting and Conference/Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Training: Join us as we celebrate 20 years of protecting the nightscape!
