Leave a legacy to the International Dark-Sky Association … keep the stars burning bright for future generations across the globe.

IDA Founders Tim Hunter and David Crawford had a dream…

In 1988, Tim Hunter and David Crawford dared to dream of protecting our legacy of starry skies. In the nearly 30 years since then, IDA has become the foremost advocate and authority for night sky protection.

Do you also dare to dream, as did Tim and David? If so, IDA’s Planned Giving program provides the means for you to sustain the programs and projects that are critical to our success. By joining the Polaris Circle you will ensure that the dream lives on!

What Is Planned Giving?

Planned gifts allow donors to provide future benefits to causes about which they care passionately, usually through a bequest in a will or a living trust. Donors control the bequest during their lives. Other planned giving instruments provide the donor with immediate tax and financial benefits.

Why Make A Gift to IDA?

A planned gift to the International Dark-Sky Association will help ensure that IDA meets its mission of reducing light pollution and protecting the planet. Your gift will help provide an enduring source of income for the future of the International Dark-Sky Association.
